Planning for my Gatorade Commercial

 Props

I decided to create a Gatorade commercial, with that comes the planning and creation of this commercial. For this commercial I am going to use a bottle of Gatorade as a prop to advertise and drink within this commercial.

Costumes

For this commercial I will have one main person throughout the whole commercial. This person would wear athletic clothing like a loose fitting shirt or tank top, shorts, and running shoes. The person in the commercial will wear their hair back to prevent their hair getting in their face, which would prevent the audience from seeing them. I plan on having my main subject do exercises, therefore having them wear athletic clothing is crucial to the development of this commercial.

Schedule

I will follow a schedule to complete this project in a timely manner and have time to film, edit, and upload this commercial. On October 23rd, I researched the conventions of Gatorade, and started to plan out how I will complete this commercial. On October 24th I will getting my props, costumes, and equipment together so I will be completely ready for when I have to film. On October 26th I will storyboard my commercial so I have everything planned out for my commercial, and I will know exactly what to do. On October 28th I will film all of the shots for my commercial. On October 30th I will edit my commercial and see if I have to add anything to it. If I follow this schedule this could help me on completing my commercial early, just in case I need more time to fix anything.

Location

I will film my commercial at a park, since its an open field and a good place to show someone working out and running. My commercial being filmed at a park shows that my main subject is working out and is very athletic, which sets the tone for the commercial being a sports drink commercial. My commercial being filmed at a park makes the commercial seem more personable to the audience, since anyone is able to go to a park to work out and run. Also with my main subject working out and being tired will put emphasis on Gatorade, because they will be seen drinking it and feeling refreshed.

Backup Plan

My back up plan for if the weather is undesirable is to film we may go under a pavilion. I would film my main subject doing jumping jacks, pushups, and other workouts there. If the weather ends up becoming dangerous (lightning) we may have to film on another day. Going by this plan, this
would work in getting my commercial done by the due date, and having it still be of quality.
