 Opening sequence script; Dialogue and sound by scene

Scene 1

Friend 1: Did you hear what Debby said to Alex?

Friend 2: Oh my god, what did she say?

Friend 1: She said that Alex looked hideous in that green shirt she was wearing.

Friend 2: No way. No way! I thought they were friends.

Friend 1: I guess not anymore. I have to use the restroom, be right back.

Friend 2: Okay, I'll wait over there.

Scene 2

*No dialogue*

Scene 3

*no dialogue*

Scene 4

*no dialogue*

Scene 5

Friend 1: I've probably have her waiting for too long, let me just finish up.

Scene 6

Friend 1: Where is she? She said she would be right here?

Friend 1: What is this? It looks like some sort of notebook.

Scene 7

Friend 2: Who are you and why did you kidnap me?

Kidnapper: Shut up!

Friend 2: No, I want an answer right now!

Kidnapper: Stop talking I won't answer you until we get away from here!

Scene 8

Friend 1: What does this mean? What could these numbers mean?

Friend 1: Wait, I have an idea!

Scene 9

Friend 2: What do you want from me and why we here?

Kidnapper: Listen, don't shoot the messenger, I'm just doing what my boss wants me to do, I don't really want to do this. If your friend is smart they'll find the clues I left them, and maybe find you.

Scene 10

Friend 1: These numbers must lead to a coordinate according to my calculations! But where is it and what will I find there? 

Shooting script

Scene 1

-Two friends are walking together and gossiping.

- There is dialogue between the two characters, and some ambient sound.

-There is well lit lighting in this scene.

Scene 2

- A suspicious person walks out of a car.

- Non-diegetic sound: suspicious music plays.

-Well lit lighting still, but the person seems as if they are trying to be hidden.

Scene 3

- The suspicious person seems to be following the two friends, but is hiding.

- Non-diegetic sound: the suspicious music continues to play,

- Diegetic sound: You can hear the two friends laughing.

- Lighting: Well lit lighting, but the suspicious person is trying to hide in shadowy areas.

Scene 4

- Friend 2 is all alone not paying attention to their surroundings.

-The suspicious person puts their hand over Friend 2's mouth and kidnaps them.

-Diegetic noise: Friend 2 is doing a muffled scream while being kidnapped.

Scene 5

- Friend 1 is in the restroom washing their hands and looking at themselves in the mirror while tidying themselves up.

-Diegetic sound: you hear the sink running while they are washing their hands.

-Lighting- Well lit artificial lighting from the bathroom.

Scene 6

-Friend 1 walks out of the restroom looking for Friend 2, they look very confused.

- Friend 1 searches multiple areas and still cannot find Friend 2

Scene 7

-Suspicious person kidnapped Friend 2 and now they are in a car.

-The car isn't moving but the kidnapper seems to be busy trying to contact someone. 

- Ambient sound: you can hear the car is running but it is not in motion.

Scene 8

- Friend 1 finds a notebook, picks it up, and opens it.

- Inside of the notebook there are numbers, however Friend 1 does not know what these numbers are for.

-Lighting: well lit lighting

-Diegetic sound: you can hear Friend 1 flip through the pages.

Scene 9

-The kidnapper and Friend 2 are now in a different location.

-Friend 2 is stuck and cannot run away.

-The kidnapper still looks as if he is busy trying to contact someone.

Scene 10

- You can see Friend 1 doing calculations trying to figure out what the numbers mean, and when they find out they perk their head up.

-Non-diegetic sound: You can hear mysterious music playing in the background.
