Title Research: Art of the Title Website

 The Art of the Title website is a website that shows different examples of  different titles that are used in different movies. This website tells you the different titles used and who made the titles for the movie. This website also tells you different details about the movie like who made the music and who did the cinematography for the movie. This site is very interesting and allows for me to learn about the different titles that are used in different movies. I am researching this website because it helps me with my final task by showing me different examples of titles used in movies. Also this also helps me develop some ideas for titles for my final task thus helping me. I learned a lot about the different titles in each movie, and how they are chosen. I also learned about why some designers chose to make the titles look the way they do in the movie. I also got to see the opening of some movies with the titles which shows me how the titles look in the movie. Overall, this website is very helpful when it comes to learning about titles and it helped me in my final task.

 I decided not to film this weekend due to the fact that I didn't have all the items needed. In a previous blog I mentioned all of the items I needed to film. The past weekend I decided to dedicate it to making a list and buying everything I needed for the film. Planning to Film

 I can not film during the week due to school and other obligations I have. Instead of not being proactive about filming, I decided that I am going to see what I need to do before I film. I looked at what props I would need for the film, and seeing what I would need to do to attain that. I decided that I will probably need some rope for my final task, so I have to see how much it costs, and where to buy it. I also must decide when I am going to go out and buy the rope with my parents since I don't have a car. I also must decide who I want to act in the film and who they are going to play. After I decide who I want to be in the film, and who they are going to play, I have to contact them. I plan to start filming and having everything I need by next weekend, so that gives me a lot of time to plan. Genre Research: Action

 I conducted research this year on the action genre of movies where I discussed the different aspects of the genre of action movies. I made sure in the powerpoint to add different pictures and examples of each term I researched. I specifically used pictures from action movies to show how each term was used and to show action examples. I discussed the lighting in action movies, which typically tends to be low-key lighting, high-key lighting, and Rembrandt lighting. I used pictures from movies like "Fight Club" to show the use of this lighting in these movies. I discussed the camera angles in action movies, which tend to be establishing shots, ariel shots, close up shots, mid shots, and high angle shots.
