Finding Actors and Planning

I am planning to start filming this weekend, thus I must prepare for that. I have already acquired all of the needed props and materials to film this weekend, now I must contact the actors. I already had in mind who I wanted to be in my film, so I decided to contact them. I contacted three people and told them my pitch for my film, what we would film, and what days I plan on filming. I also discussed the time and place of where we would be filming to see if they could come. After discussing time and place, I went over what safety measures I would be taking during filming. I went over what I would have to keep everyone safe, like an first aid kit, and that we would be able to call emergency services if needed. I also went over how we would keep each other safe during COVID-19, and how everyone must wear a mask if not filming. I also discussed what each person would need to do within the film to make sure everyone was fully informed. I discussed some of the scenes, and how I would like to film them, and what they would have to do for the film. After discussing all of that, everyone consented to being in the film, and said that they were able to come. I later started thinking about who should play which character and how they would play that character. This was a slight challenge due to the fact that I didn't really realize how much would go into this thought process, like height and hair color. After some thinking and taking things into consideration, I discussed with the actors who would play what character. I then sent them the script for my film for them to read their lines. I also told each actor the movement for the scenes, so when we started to film, we would already have an idea of how it would be filmed. After contacting the actors in my film, and discussing their roles and lines, I needed to plan other things for my film. I needed to see if I needed to do any last minute shopping for props before I started to film. I also went over my storyboard and planned to bring it with me to film so I know what to film. I then went over the movement in each scene one more time to make sure I liked it and that it flows with the movie.
