Planning to Film: Items Needed

I decided not to film this weekend due to the fact that I didn't have all the items needed. In a previous blog I mentioned all of the items I needed to film. The past weekend I decided to dedicate it to making a list and buying everything I needed for the film. If I didn't dedicate this weekend to buying all of the materials I needed, I would not be able to film. I would rather film fully prepared with everything I need before hand, than start filming and not have anything. Without all of the proper items needed to film, this film would not be complete and would overall take longer. This weekend I looked around my house to see what I had, and what I could use as props for my film. I looked all around my house since I would like to use items I already had instead of going out and buying items that are unneeded. I found some items that could be used within the film, in my house, thus bringing down the cost. However, I couldn't find all of the items I needed for the film. Since I couldn't find all the items I needed to film with, I decided to make a list of everything I needed to buy. With this list I was able to calculate everything that was needed to be bought for this film. I also searched for alternatives for some of the items, to make them safer and/or more affordable to buy. I then went to the store and searched for my items, and payed for everything I needed for my film. Since I now have all of the props and equipment I needed for the film, I started to prepare everything to film. I started to contact all of the people who were going to be in my film to see what time would best work to film. I discussed with the people what day and time we would need to film in correspondence with the film. I also went over what each person would need to do for each scene and character. I then told them the safety precautions I would be taking due to COVID-19, and what each person would need to do to keep themselves and everyone around them safe. I also told them that I would have a first aid kit if anyone were to get hurt, and that anyone would be able to call emergency services if needed.
